Aalo, primarily inhabited by the Galo tribe, is also home to various other tribes such as Adi, Minyong, Bori, Bokar, Pailibo, Ramos, Memba, among others. How to Reach Aalo

By Air:

The nearest airport to Aalo is Pasighat Airport, located in the East Siang district. Pasighat Airport has regular flights to Guwahati and Kolkata, and from there, you can take a bus or hire a cab to reach Aalo.

By Rail:

The nearest railway station to Aalo is Murkongselek Railway Station, which is well-connected to all the major cities of Arunachal Pradesh. The station is approximately 131 km away from Aalo.

By Road:

The district headquarters of West Siang district, Along is 95 Kms from Pasighat, 240 Kms from North Lakhimpur and 303 km from Itanagar, and is connected through Arunachal Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) and some travel agencies.

Accommodations:

There are various options available for accommodation for those who plan to visit the Yomgo River Festival. These include hotels, campsites, and homestays located in and around Aalo.

Arunachal Pradesh is a restricted area and visitors, other than natives, must obtain an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter the state.
